Ann Lucille Summerhill of Newton Twp. died Wednesday morning at Mercy Hospital. Her husband is Fred W. Summerhill Jr. The couple was married in 1975.
Born in Scranton, daughter of the late Thomas and Lucille Brocavitch, she attended St. Benedict's Church.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who deeply enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren — they were the apples of her eye. She also loved to crochet and knit. She was the best wife a guy could ever possibly have.
Also surviving are two sons, Fred W. III and Thomas I., both of Newton Twp.; two grandsons, Tommy Jr. and Ryan Robert; a sister, Mary Mlacker, Throop; a niece, LeAnna Tomkin; a nephew, Ronnie Mlacker Jr.; and two grandnephews, A.J. and Colby Tomkin.
A blessing service will be Saturday at 10 a.m. from the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St. Clarks Summit, with services by Monsignor James McGarry, pastor of St. Benedict's Church. Interment, Newton Cemetery.
