Ann Marie Roland, South Abington Township, died Saturday morning at the Regional Hospital of Scranton. She was the widow of James Roland who died in 2017. The couple had been married for 67 years.
Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Marie Naughton Brogan. Prior to her retirement, she worked in the human resource department at Allied Services.
Surviving are two sons, James Roland, Aiken S.C. and Matthew Roland and his wife Laura, Raleigh, N.C.; a daughter Mary Kreidler and her husband Thompson, South Abington Twp.; six grandchildren Stacey LaRusso, South Abington Twp., Kelly Gower and her husband Scott, South Abington Twp., Kathleen Roland, Clarks Summit, Claire Sailsbury and her husband Chris, London, England, Kane Roland, NC and Brogan Roland and his wife Abigail, MN.; two great grandchildren Rylie and Owen Gower; a brother John Brogan, Scranton and a sister Romayne Melnick, FL.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Francis and Matthew Brogan, and a sister, Mary Brogan.
A private graveside service will be held in Cathedral Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 418 S. State Street, Clarks Summit.
