Ann Louise (Mack) Schoffstall

Ann Louise (Mack) Schoffstall, Clarks Summit, passed into her eternal reward on Saturday, January 15, 2022. She was 93 years young. She was the first of two daughters born to Richard H. Mack and Lavinia (Becker) Mack in her home in Bethlehem, PA. She grew up in Bethlehem and graduated from Liberty High School. She was married to George R. Schoffstall, Sr. in Bethlehem's Wesley Methodist Church. Together they raised four children: George R. Schoffstall, Jr., James A. Schoffstall, Jeanne A. Schoffstall Warner, and David A. Schoffstall. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband George, and son David.

In her younger years she was active with the Clarks Summit Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed gardening and loved flower arrangements. She especially loved all her grand and great grandchildren.

Ann was currently under hospice care in the home of her loving daughter, Jeanne. She was active in Clarks Summit Methodist Church until declining health prevented it. But that did not stop her from viewing online services at her church and Faith Covenant Church. Ann is survived by her two sons, daughter, her sister Joan, seven grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 418 S. State Street, Clarks Summit.
