Ann M. Kutzar, 86, of Clarks Summit, died Friday at Neighborhood Hospice in West Chester after a brief illness. She was the widow of Paul Kutzar, who died in 1999. They were married for 39 years.
Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Augustus and Anna (Roche) Jacquinot. Ann was a graduate of Central High School and worked for Bell Telephone. She was a member of Our Lady of the Snows Parish. Ann was a devoted wife, mother, cousin, godmother and friend.
Ann is survived by her loving daughter, Suzanne. She is also survived by numerous loving cousins, friends and her caring neighbors.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at the Church of St. Benedict, 1849 Newton Ransom Blvd., Clarks Summit, celebrated by her cousin, the Rev. Matthew Roche, S.J., followed by interment at St. John's Byzantine Cemetery, Scranton.
Family and friends are invited to call Monday, from 4 to 7 p.m., at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit. The family requests that those attending the Mass on Tuesday please proceed directly to the church.
