Ann M. Dougherty of South Abington Twp. died Thursday afternoon in Hospice Community Care, Dunmore. She was married to Joseph A. Dougherty. The couple celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary July 16.
Born in Dunmore, daughter of the late Thomas J. And Helen Duffy Morgan, she was a resident of Chinchilla for the past 43 years. Before retirement, she was a technician for RCA and Thompson Electronics for 20 years, and was a technician at Diversified for 10 years. She was a member of Our Lady of the Snows Church, Clarks Summit.
Also surviving are four sons, Mark T. and wife, Jeannie; and Gerard and wife, Renee, all of South Abington Twp.; Michael, Bridgeton, N.J.; and Paul, South Abington Twp.; a daughter, Sharon Duffy, Clarks Summit; a brother, Robert Morgan, New Jersey; 10 grandchildren, Erin, M.J., Jamie, Jennifer, Gordon, Sara, Kelsey, Alyssa, Rachel, and Patrick; five great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Joseph; and two brothers, Jack and Thomas.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Snows Church. Interment, Hickory Grove Cemetery, Waverly.
