Ann R. Butchar, 58, of Scranton died Friday evening at Community Medical Center.
Born in Scranton, daughter of Nettie Potts Butchar and the late Stanley P. Butchar Sr., Ann enjoyed writing poetry and even had some titles published. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Also surviving are a brother, Stanley P. Jr. and wife, Anja, Bluefield, W.Va.; and two nephews, SFC Stanley P. Butchar IV and Dr. Jonathan P. Butchar.
The funeral will be Monday at 11 a.m. from the Glenwood Mausoleum, 703 Morgan Highway, Clarks Summit.
