Alice Adelheid Petersen of Scranton died March 30 at Regional Hospital of Scranton.
Born in Asheville, N.C., on Nov. 4, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Eyolf Senn and Emma Louise Bailey Petersen. Alice was a scholar and practitioner of depth psychology, culture, spirituality and holistic living that included theater, dance, yoga and astrology. She was the founder ?of the Holistic Consortium of Northeast Pennsylvania. She was a career secretary and lived her beliefs in honoring the Earth and all life, most especially cats.
She was a graduate of the Marywood Graduate School of Social Work, studied at the Jung Institute in Switzerland, and lived, worked and visited England and Europe. She also lived and worked at Transfiguration Monastery, Windsor, N.Y.
