Aimee Schultz McGarry, age 55, of Ransom Township, died peacefully in the arms of her loving family on December 30, 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born on December 14, 1966 in Scranton, Pennsylvania, and was a graduate of Abington Heights High School and Bloomsburg University.
Aimee's family growing up was full of fun and adventure. Her Dad, the late Ernest Schultz, and her Mom, Marion Schultz, supported all her siblings, Jennifer, David, Wes, and Ernie, in all their life endeavors.
Aimee was successful as a National Accounts Manager for Aramark Cleanroom. Her commitment to her customers, coworkers, and all the Cleanroom Family was evident each day she entered the office.
Aimee and her family have been members of Parker Hill Church (LCBC) since 2005. She was an active member of the church committee and some of her greatest joys were the girls in her small group.
She was successful in all parts of her life, but her greatest achievement was her family. She was married to her husband, Patrick, for 31 years. Their children, Lacey McGarry (fiancé Brian Keefer), age 30, Emily Fathergill (husband Nick Fathergill), age 26, and John McGarry, age 23, were the true center of Aimee's life. She guided each of them through the successes and challenges of young life. Aimee had a unique ability to inspire, love, push, and hug at the perfect moment. This unique ability gave Pat, Lacey, Emily, and John to believe all things are possible with faith.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life gathering on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. The service will be held at LCBC (Formerly Parker Hill Church), 607 North Abington Road, Clarks Summit.
