Agnes Mary Warner, 79, of Clarks Summit, PA, passed away Tuesday evening, December 27th, at Marian Community Hospital in Carbondale, PA. She was the wife of the late John Warner. Born in Hammond, IN on September 23rd, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary Markward. Aggie, as she liked to be called by her friends, lived in Pitman, NJ for 45 years before relocating to Clarks Summit, PA. She enjoyed the annual family camping trips and had seen a great deal of the US. She and John travelled the length of Route 66. She enjoyed spending time outdoors and was especially fond of her rose bushes and azaleas. Aggie spent several years as a den mother for Cub Scout Pack 266 and assisting the Pitman PTA with fundraisers. She also spent several years performing volunteer work at Bedford Arms Apartments in Clarks Summit. She was an avid fan of the Philadelphia 76'ers and Washington Redskins and one of her favorite activities was attending the annual Pitman Craft show. Aggie was known to give to others even though it meant she had to make sacrifices herself. She was a lifelong homemaker and her infectious smile and all-around friendliness will be missed by all who knew her. Surviving is her twin sister Ruth Martin of Indiana, son Greg of Lindenwold, NJ, son Russ and his wife Julie of Brandon MS, daughter Leslie Longacre of Pitman, NJ, and daughter Susan Lafferty and her husband Jake of Sewell, NJ. She also is survived by four grandchildren and her faithful companion, her dog Precious. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Interment will be at Valhalla Memory Gardens in Bloomington, IN.
