Adella M. Cebrick, 81, formerly of Swoyersville, died Thursday night in the hospice unit of the Heritage House in Wilkes Barre. She was the wife of the late Stephen Cebrick who died in 1975.
Born in Swoyersville, daughter of the late Adam and Agnes Konopka Kolojejchick, she was a Nurses Aid for the Valley Crest Nursing Home and was a self employed hair dresser. She was a member of St. Mary's Holy Name Church, of Swoyersville, the choir and The Polish American Singers.
Surviving are two daughters, Deborah J. Kennedy and husband John, Clarks Summit, and Patricia Corcoran and husband Francis, Trucksville; one son, Stephen and wife Catherine, Mt. Pocono; 7 grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by five brothers, John, Frank, Joseph, Leonard, and Michael; and three sisters, Mary Rutski, Helen Heffers, and Sophie Kolojejchick.
A mass of Christian burial will be held Monday a 9:30am from the Wroblewski Funeral Home, 1442 Wyoming Ave. Forty Fort, with mass at 10am at St Mary's Holy Name Church, 283 Shoemaker St., Swoyersville, to be celebrated by Rev. Louis Grippe. Interment St. Mary's Byzantine Cemetery, Dallas.
