Adam Zawicki Jr. of the Abingtons died Tuesday morning at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Hospital, Wilkes- Barre.
Born in Clarks Summit, son of the late Adam Stanley Sr. and Helen Obezychleb Zawicki, he was the owner/ operator of Zawicki Construction, primarily focusing on interstate mowing.
He was an avid sportsman and horse enthusiast and was a man who loved to work. He will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.
Surviving are two daughters, Beth J. Rozelle and husband, LaVerne, Dalton; and Sandra E. Zawicki, Montrose; three brothers, Mark, Falls; Stephen and wife, Dawn, LaPlume; and Dale and wife, Melissa, Nicholson; a sister, Florence Richards; 14 grandchildren, Adam, Buddy, Abbi, Sami, Larry, Brett, Christopher, Seth, Laura, Stephanie, Kristin, Amy, Melissa and Amber; two great grandchildren, Oliviah and Madison; several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by a son, Alan Adam Zawicki; a brother, Leonard Zawicki; and two sisters, Helen Krupovich and Eleanor Lukasewicz.
A funeral service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit. Interment, Abington Hills Cemetery, South Abington Twp.
Friends may call Thursday, 10 until time of service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
